in the last few weeks it seems that instead of one or two new posters a week we seem to be getting several every day.
many seem to be long time jw's who are troubled by the path of the organisation.
this is really encouraging to those of us who have been here sometime.. welcome!
I'm confused, in the 60's and 70's the great crowd. We filled the KH, we couldn't build
enough KH, a sign of the end. Now the numbers are dropping and this is a sign of the end.
I thought the separation work (weeds) were people coming out of false religion, not those in
Jehovahs organization. I did a little drugs when I was young(before JW world), and nothing
compare to the mind trip that this organization send you on.
so... bro flodin puts poison onto the first loaf of bread and says that this pictures someone "sinning against the holy spirit".
he then puts the bread into the trash can stating that jehovah completely discards anyone "sinning against the holy spirit"... meaning they cannot ever be forgiven...he says that the pharisees "sinned against the holy spirit" because they denied indisputable evidence of the operation of jehovah's holy spirit displayed by jesus... therefore jehovah would completely discard them... no way back for them.. fast forward a little... we have the bible character stephen...acts 6:8 says: now stephen, full of divine favor and power, was performing great wonders and signs among the people.so stephen was showing indisputable evidence of the operation of jehovah's holy spirit.now we come to the bible character paul (saul)... he was a pharisee.paul would have seen stephen in action... witnessing the indisputable evidence of the operation of jehovah's holy spirit first hand!yet paul not only waged war against all christians but he personally approved the killing (stoning) of stephen.according to the bread illustration paul should have been discarded by jehovah at this point for "sinning against the holy spirit"... he would have been put in the trash can... no way back at all...but what happened according to the bible?
jesus appeared to him on the road to damascus... he became one of the most zealous apostles in bible history with jehovah's full support!so what on earth is the bread illustration all about?
So who today blaspheme the Holy spirit.
We have the Jews who do not accept Jesus as the Messiah.
Hindus say the teenage Jesus traveled across southeast Asia, learning yogic traditions
and returning home to be a guru to the Jews.
Muslims: Jesus was not crucified but instead, he was raised up by God into the heavens.
In other words it seems every one besides JW's are speaking "against the Holy spirit".
How many Holy spirits are out there, and which one do you listen too?

"Smoking is associated with spiritism", but drinking spirits is different, even if you
fall on your face with shots of Gin and Juice.
a jw made the claim "no christian [jw] has ever murdered anyone".. when i showed examples of such, the goalposts moved a bit with "was he a baptized, dedicated witness?".
can anyone provide examples of murders committed by "baptized, dedicated" jws?.

Deuteronomy 17 .. The Bible commands Christians to kill nonbelievers.
We must remember all those people in the OT were JW, according to JW's today.
So I guess nonbelievers are no body.
on a previous post mamacita29 pointed up the low quality of new jw converts.. is the quality falling even more as the society use lower than low meeting, talks, broadcasts etc.. when i was active initially the organisation and standards seemed totally different today.
i have seen hard working intelligent elders fall by death or exhaustion.
the younger generation that came along never really grasped responsibility hence shortage of good elders, never mind the watered down to almost nothing quality of meetings.
The friends in the 60's and 70's that became JW's, teachers, doctor, salesmen, city supervisor,
professional athlete yes professional people in my congregation. What is interesting most
of those folks are still JW's today and struggling financially.
That's what I realized the mind set. Even though I had walked a way I still had the
JW mind set. I defended the shunning policy for years, it was a act of love I told
people. I was one who believe it was the best religion out there, but not for me.
OH boy , when I saw the light I became the true Apostate, ISIS in reverse.

That is what separate Jehovah's organization from all others, the GB are possessed
by something, what I don't know.

cumbersome Loads=alcoholism,over the counter drugs, stress,anxiety and
other fun stuff. I don't think this is what Jesus had in mind.
But if you want to become a JW, you will have a great time.
I detest the GB the head of the snake, and I would tell that to each GB member to his face.

What were those heavy burdens?
They were numerous, expensive, requiring much time, much property and free labor.
The Pharisees were rigid in requiring that all the people should pay the taxes, give
of their property, comply with every part of the law with the utmost rigor, yet they
indulged themselves and bore as little of the expense and trouble as possible,
so that, where they could avoid it, they would not lend the least aid to the
people in the toils and expense of their religious rites.
Will the real Pharisee of today stand up please.
